The couple started Lemon Fresh in Rapid City, South Dakota in 2022 after struggling to find reliable, all-natural cleaning services for their own home. With zero industry experience but strong corporate backgrounds, they leaned into mentorship, tested over 250 natural products, and even started developing their own private-label line with a chemist. Their mission? Create a cleaner, healthier home environment—without the toxic chemicals.

But Lemon Fresh isn’t just about spotless surfaces. It’s about culture. From their “golden retriever” core value to employee training inspired by Unreasonable Hospitality, they emphasize energy-giving service and emotional intelligence just as much as technique. The company is majority female-owned and proudly female-led, reflecting the demographics of the industry and the needs of the families they serve.

Franchisees operate with low startup costs (currently $40K–$60K), flexible territory sizes (minimum 75K population), and the freedom to serve residential, commercial, or even Airbnb clients—though the brand leans heavily toward high-touch, in-home service.
