Another Nine: 24/7 Indoor Golf Making the Game More Accessible
In this episode of Emerging Franchise Brands, host Frank Fiume interviews Brett Jewell and Ethan Grobe, the co-founders of Another Nine, a fast-growing indoor golf franchise offering 24/7 access to private simulator suites in a clean, tech-enabled space, with no staff required.
The concept was born out of a family golf trip and a simple observation: people want to play more golf, but life gets in the way. As busy dads and working professionals, Brett and Ethan realized there was a massive gap in the market, so they created a solution that feels more like Anytime Fitness for golfers.
Each Another Nine location features 3 to 6 bays powered by top-tier Trackman simulators and a proprietary software system (A9OS) that handles everything from booking to access control. Customers use a mobile app to unlock the doors, bring their own drinks, and enjoy uninterrupted time in a stylish, private environment.
After launching in Cincinnati, the co-founders proved their model with a lean test location, followed by a larger space that doubled revenue potential. They’ve since opened the doors to franchising, with startup costs starting around $330K, no employees needed on-site, and strong unit economics built for scalability.
Another Nine is attracting franchisees from all walks of life, firefighters, financial pros, sports fans, drawn to the idea of growing the game, serving their communities, and owning a business that’s fun, simple, and built for the long haul.
